Delaware 5Th. Wheel Owners
I am moving to the Dover Delaware area and I own a 35' fifth wheel. The community that we are moving into does not allow campers to be parked in the community or one your property. Does anyone in the area know of any places that allow you to store campers for a fee in the Dover or south of area? I am in kind of a bind and need some help quick. Thanks for all of your help.

Looked at the prongs on my plugs, and I am going to have to go with corrosion. They are not a shiny copper. So i will clean them with some steal wool. Thank you all for your input.

No, I dont think the connection was loose, but since you mentioned heat, i did put a plastic bag over the connection to keep any rain from getting in there. Do you think that could of caused excessive heat? Maybe no letting it ventilate?

Extension Cords
We went camping this weekend with three other families. The way the campsite was set up, the electric and water hook-ups were in the middle. Two of us had to use 30amp extension cords to hook up to to the pole. I use an auto former but my friend does not. When we went to un-hook the male end plug from the camper to the female end of the extension cord the ends were melted together. This happened to both of us that used extension cords. We were on separate poles also. Does anyone have any idea of what could of caused this? Does this happen regularly? It didn't seem to damage anything but were the plugs met. Any of you great minds out there got any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Dunno i might be a little nuts, but we are heading out on our 5th. trip this year tomorrow. We are heading to Point lookout state park, rain or shine. Dont think ive seen anyone mention all the campgrounds in Gettysburg and there Pretty close. Im from Glen Burnie Maryland and ive been a Vol. Firefighter in Baltimore County for almost 20 years.

RE: what if I don't fit
It happened to us when we went to the nascar races in Richmond a few years ago. I have a 35' fifth wheel and when we arrived late, our spot was taken by someone else. I put our camper in the only spot they had left wich was a pop up site. If fit, we ate, drank and watched some races and had a hell of a good time!

Thanks for your help and advice. As long as it is Clean and enough room to get my camper in we should be ok. Ive already made reservations, i actually made them back in January.
Gary, you said something about picking up hwy. 49 to the track rather than back to salsibury. Can you give me a little more detail on that?

Tamarac Marina and Campground
Just wanted to find out if anyone has ever stayed at this campground. It is in Statesvile North Carolina. I booked it for the Nascar race at Lowe's Motor speedway Memorial Day Weekend. Its just gonna be the guys going, so we don't need the place place to stay. Pretty much somewhere to park and drink beer. If you've been there please let me know how you liked it.
